1. Upcoming, research and so on…

    I’m going to be very busy again over the next few months… After GEISAI 15# I found that there isn’t really a market for digital illustration right now. I’ve been following Murakami Takashi and his instruction with JNTHED and how he went from digital to analogue. The interviews and articles I’ve been reading are very interesting, and I can understand where his thoughts are coming from.. It’s a tough market. But after buying 美術手帳 last month, I found some really good professional advice.

    So for now, I’m working on concepts rather than fully finished work, and trying my hand at different materials and sizes. Because of the JLPT test in December I can’t focus my work, but I will be doing so after it’s finished.

    For now though, the next few exhibitions I’ll be featured in are….

    298nin exhibition
    Nagoya Yada gallery
    May 2nd to 6th 2012

    The later two of the exhibitions are rather large ones too… Especially GEISAI…

    So I guess it’s back to work now and research. Trying to find the right angle to go from. Wish me luck!
